We went out looking for whatever hit the lines. We used down lines and free lines with herring as bait. Caught a largemouth which is the first I've caught at Lanier. Also caught 4 spots and 5 catfish. We were looking for numbers rather than a couple of stripers. It was about 4 hours fishing. Nice weather.

Thanks for the update. We caught a nice cat yesterday down 70 ft deep.

We caught a cat on a red and white 1oz jig on leadcore at 3MPH over a 90 foot bottom on Saturday:)Unfortunately that's is all we caught.
