Armed with just one dozen herring and 4 trout, we found one hungry striper, and a bunch of spots. Had lots of spots rob us, but landed two. We fished almost 3 hours, mid-lake.

This striper came in with two of our hooks in his mouth (pic of the hooks below). It's 11.5 pounds:


I wish I could catch a spot that is this proportion to my size... it'd be a lake record:


Here's the double hooks... one was a small trout, and the other was a herring, both free-lined:
