first day of the year that water temps and weather have conspired to give us a day to chase cobia.
Heading 32 miles out in the morning to r5 tower, planning on being there at daylight,should be some king macks there now too.Then run and gun fish my way back to the hill in time to do payroll at 3pm.

is the cobia pattern on the georgia coast the same as the panhandle?

Sorry for the late reply.
And not really our fish are caught around structure for the most part with live bait or jigs. From the channel markers all the way to the far navy towers (60 mi).
It has been good this year with the fish showing a little late with the late warming waters and we are smack dab in the middle of the run now.

It will be good for another 3 weeks or so with a few fish hanging around all summer.
Anyone wants to come down I'll be happy to help or go with me, we split gas and I fish a couple times a week
