Fished Flat creek from 7:30 till noon today. Downlined herring till about 10:00, got 1 little spot and a striper. Boat traffic picked up around 10:00 so started pulling umbrellas. Caught 2 nice spots and 2 more stripers between 10:30 and 11:30. I'm beginning to believe more in those solunar table forecasts. Today's forecast called for best action around 11 to noon. At least for me, the forecast was right. And has been the last few trips. Stripers today were small...4 or 5 pounds. Water temp was 83 and a little stained, I guess with the rain Sat. night. Overcast all morning and saw several fish chasing bait on top, but always just out of casting distance.
