Fished this tourney with my son and we had a great time, weighed a couple of fish and lost the "big one" in a tree. We caught seven fish all on the downline at 25 feet. Three at night using a light and the rest Sat morning. Fished the mouth of 6mile Friday till dark without a strike. Spent the night and morning in 2mile and caught five up to 11#'s then moved north around Brown's Bridge and caught two and lost a good one in the trees. Ended up weighing in almost 18#'s of fish about ten short of the winner.

Thanks to the folks at North Georgia Striper Club for organizing this event. My first tournament and it was a lot of fun especially since I spent some quality time with my son. Something you don't get much of with a teenager.
