Another good report from Durniak at the DNR:

The 2006 Lake Lanier stocking of striped bass was completed yesterday
evening (May 10) by WRD personnel. A total of 380,400 one-inch
fingerlings were stocked at nine Lanier ramps. On average, striper fingerlings
will grow to 12 inches (3/4 lb) in one year. Average growth rates for
age 2-5 fish are 20" (2 lbs), 24" (5 lbs), 27" (8 lbs), and 30" (12
llbs). The lucky ones that live to be 10 years old weigh 25-30 lbs.
