Nice day on the water --- for the fish..! Spent the morning on the humps around bald-bridge and the islands... nothing.. moved north of the bridge across from six mile... nothing... caught a spot on a downline at the swimming beach near the dam.. didnt get skunked but didnt see the big ones. Why so much bait on the graph and no stripers?? Saw some trollers and they gave us the "where are the fish?" sign too.. seems it was slow. So who slammed em??

Fishing was better north of the bridge on Sunday. As Clay said in his notes, fish like it is June in the north. Fished 25-30 foot down in 40 -50 foot water on points near mouths of creeks and coves. Used down lines. Tried trolling and got ZIP. Caught numerous strippers and a couple of bass. Tried Saturday below bridge both sides all the way to the dam and only spotted a few fish. Shoal Cr. and Saddle Back had a few fish , no schools. Capt. Dave Bush "Lady Rose"
