Well it's that time of year again and a few of us are going to ST. Marks Florida next week to do some inshore fishing. Hope to get on some cobia this time because we went a little early last year. I'll be sure to post some pic's when I get back.

Well I'm back and had a hell of a trip. I have never caught so many fish in my life. My hands can tell a thousand words. We ended up with over 60 keepers in spotted trout and spanish mackeral and threw back at least a hundred more due to being too small. By the second day of fishing the locals were asking us where to fish. I like fishing sand bars, ditches and oyster beds but it seems like they just get out there and drift. On the last day the weather was great and the ocean was very calm so we headed out about 20 miles to some reafs to do some bottom fishing. Although we were out 20 miles the water was still only about 23ft. We caught several grouper but they were to small. I headed back in when the wind started picking up to about 12ft of water to pull live pin fish behind balloons for cobia. We had no luck, just caught a few sharks. I believe we went through 14 bags of Gulp Shrimp in all and we bought a 100 live shrimp every day. So that will tell how many fish we caught. I had my two coolers slammed full plus the other two guys had theirs full too.

Hey Big S I am glad you guys had a good trip, and that you have returned safely. There is nothing like getting away and having a great time fishing with the buds.
