As might be expected, the east wind the last couple of days has not affected the striper fishing. The fish are still grouped up very well on the north end and the south end. The only difference from last week is the fish have pulled out over deeper water. The best depth on the down line is 28 ft deep over a 50 ft bottom. Time of day does not seem to matter. The fish are schooling occasionally but it is far from dependable. The fish are better size on the south end but harder to find especially with price of gas.
