We were up on the north end today all day .Water temp was 47 this mornin and went up to 50 by 2pm.We put out 6 down rods & 2 planers and a balloon .Ended up catchin 12 school fish 8 to 10 lb.
The bite came on the planers using jumbo shiners from the dam store on peachtree.These shiners are 3 to 4" long .Nada on the down rods.At one point we had a triple catch ,both boars and the baloon at one time with 2 guys on the boat.

The fish were in the mouth of the creek we coming into.Nothing on the tv screen and yet all them fish.

In all 12 stripes in 2 hrs wasnt a bad day .then the bite stopped, they moved on .Fish were caught between 10am & 12 pm noon.

I to also steped on my new rod through all the excitment and broke the 3rd eye.

Too the water is a bit stained from last week .
We had the whole creek to ourselves for a change .

This was the first fish of the day .they all were about the same size .

Awesome day. Had to get crazy with 3 fish on. To bad about the rod. Fixable I hope? The water looks like glass in the pic. I'll be out tomorrow. Finally warmth!!

Just seemed to have a wave or school come through.It was fun at last to have someone catch what they wanted to eat.

The fish gods were good to us today.

With this warm weather coming up ,they seem to to be coming up to the top for flat line stuff.Got a feelin the creeks will be full on sat Im gonna go where there is no one at .

Gotta love them line stretchers.

Now thats what I'm talking about! Great day on the water and it looks beautiful and bearable.

below the 60 bridge.It sho nuf was an awsome day .im just glad my buddy got some stripes to eat.Thats what he wanted .It sure was fun with the triple hook up .

Yeah, I can vouch for that. I hit a stick yesterday and I thought I broke my transducuer but it was just kicked up.

If you beat the crowd this weekend and catch fish, you are by far the man. Anywhere there are fish, there will be boats this weekend - everybody and their mama will be there.

Wahoo is above 60 bridge and yes, it is a good creek at certain times of the year. Lots of other good ones too.

I couldn't get out this evening as expected....had to stay home and keep the baby girl - my wife had a girls night out. I talked to a few folks today and nobody did good. Either 0 fish or 1 fish - the weather conditions looked good, but something was up with the bite. Hopefully tomorrow will be better - I expect to see it good first thing and last thing though. Through the day will probably be tough.

I just read where Sully caught 2 stripes......that's better than anyone else that I heard from today.
