I tell ya what, I have a set of nice Drift Master rod holders I'll give you for your new boat. You will just have to buy the mounting bases. I think they're $5.oo each at Oakwood bait. Any way it'll save you a bout $38.oo By the way they are left hand thread 1/2 in. the heavy duty ones.

Well Boys, I am sad to say that this is going to be a no go for me. My lady's car had some major issues at 3K over warranty, my AC unit took a crap the day before the 4th, and I'm being forced to take a pay cut due to economic times... Pretty heartbreaking...

Keep your head up. It was not meant to be. Having a boat is great, but all the old cliches are true as far as boat ownership goes. When the time is right, you'll find what you need. Set yourself a budget, save your money, and keep you eyes open. I looked for at least 6 months before i bought mine. And remember, the day after you buy a boat, you'll find 2 or 3 more that are bigger, better, cheaper, newer, etc than what you just got (i think it is the law).
