Got out today after an absolute smack down on fish yesterday. I hoping to do the same today. We were only able to catch very small threads today. We looked in a couple of areas before heading back to where they were yesterday.

The only stripe that i put in the boat came at a stop before we went to where they were yesterday.

Here is what i was was using as bait:

tiny shad and #4 hook


and here is the only stripe i put in the boat today:













30# 7oz




Quick in the boat for a couple of pics and back in the water she went. This is what will make big fish bigger.

GOD that is a nice fish! Were you just not marking fish today? I would take 1 fish that size over a dozen 10 lb'ers.

Mike seemed to be a great guy. Maybe sooner than later we can all get together and fish. Thanks for the good luck charm, I put a couple extra soup cans on the boat today for the same reason. Lemme know when you're ready to give these fishes a fit.

He can't fish anymore. He's got to go back to work. THANK GAWD...the fish need a break!
