Had a good time out on the lake today except that I could not feel my fingers. Saturday was tougher for myself. Only found a few small schools on saturday. Trout was the best bait. Caught our best fish about 21 pounds on a free line using a large trout. Caught a couple on downlines as well. The stripers continue to pull up in the bays at various times. You just have to have perfect timing and then it does not matter if you use a free line or downline. Did not catch any on artificials the last two days. Be sure to keep the bucktail tied on.

21 lbs ain't too shabby right now Capt'n. Pictures would be nice. I haven't seen many big fish from Lanier in a while. Are you still south ending it, or has the north end opened up for you?
