Striper fishing continues to be very strong. The fishing is much better than it was last September. The fish are on the points making the fish easier to find. The fish are not on every point, but if you check enough of them you will hit one with a good number of fish on it. The best points are in the very mouth of the creeks and out on the main channel on the south end. Two different tactics are working well. Umbrellas are working well trolling across these same points or downline 25 ft deep on the points with herring. On the umbrella use chart. 6 trailers and be sure to load the rig fully with additional jigs. Size of the rig does not matter. The important thing is to get the rig down 16 to 18 ft deep.
