Striper fishing continues to be solid this week. The fish are on the points up and down the lake on the main channel. The fish are on a 25 to 40 ft bottom and we are putting the herring down 25 ft deep. The size of fish has picked up as well. Most of the fish are in the 8 to 15 pd range instead of the 6 to 10 pd range last week. Time of day does not seem to make a differnce but I would lean toward evening being the better bite. The fish are easier to find in the evening due to the fish moving more and easier to graph. A few fisha re being picked up on umbrellas as well pulling across the points. Keep a .6 flex-it spoon tied on while down lining. I have picked up afew extra fish with the spoon vertically jigging.
