The red fin bite is improving so be sure to keep one tied on every day. Starting to catch afew nice spots on the redfin as well. Cast the lure to the points on the main channel and v-wake the bait across the surface. There has been some fish on the south end, but the bterr fishing is from Flat Creek north. Some nice fish are being caught and expect more to show up the next few weeks. Be sure to take plenty of bait right now or the spots are going to clean you dry. To help catch the bass be sure to use a stinger hook.

does color matter on the red fins, i think i have a couple of chrome and black ones.

Chrome and blue is the most popular on Lanier. Chrome and black is just as good. Sometimes on cloudy days and early in teh morning the smokey joes is best.
