The water temp continues to rise. It is now approx. 65 degrees, which is the beginning temp. for topwater. We picked up a 14lber yesterday on the chrome redfin. Free lines and planers continue to catch all the fish. The fish have been on top and rolling most morning. Be sure to take plenty of herring or the bass will leave with an empty bait tank. Now is an excellent time to take kids and pull free lines. The number of bass biting keeps it interesting for them. Some of the bass are already on the brush out on the points.
