Didn't get out until afternoon today-- went to search and destroy stripers and didn't find anything all afternoon. Tried up into two mile and young deer-- never made it up to flat creek. Did anyone get into them today? No one i talked to seemed to have had any luck-- just wondering where the action-- if any-- happened to be on this beautiful day!! \:\(

Where were you wormboy? We had a striper fisherman convention in the basin of flat creek on saturday. There were at least twenty boats back there at any one time. lots of bait, and lots of gun shy stripes. every now and then, a big fish would get tangled in all the down lines and someone would boat one. We put one in the boat and i saw two more boated. Join the party next time you're out, and bring some extra sandwiches for the crowd...

Same story at the back of Flat Creek on Sunday. Lots of fish - lots of boats. Managed to catch an 18lb'er on a flatlined trout but there were lots of lines in the water in a small area.

Sorry i didn't make the party-- my wife couldn't find the right dress. It sounds like it was spaghetti junction up there--- my boat's a real smoker lately, so if I had showed I might have cleared a few of the clean air breathers out of there and settled the place a bit.....that is if the fish could handle the oil slick!!
