During the last 4 weeks when so many were striking out I had been pretty pleased with my catches. Last week took a friend new to Striper fishing and we caught 4 good stripers and 2 midum spots. It was a great day for him. The three prior weeks I had taken kids out (my cub scouts) and has caught 4or more fish each time. The Stripers got their payback on Sunday when my I took my daughter in law, we fished, Ada, Little River, Wahoo and Gainesville Creek for over 6 hours without a fish and five minutes before pulling lines out of the water she caught a small spot, humbled once again! Bait was all over Gainesville Creek and there was bait and fish in Ada but they were on something other than my trout (small and midium) and Blue Backs, they would come up and look at the bait but not bite.
Maybe next week I can start a new streak. Hope others had better luck than me last weekend.

I was hoping to see a report here from the weekend. Sorry about your luck yesterday. If it makes you feel any better, we had the exact same results you had yesterday over the past couple of weeks - no fish!

I would imagine the water temps are creeping up. What did you see yesterday?

Sometimes in February those fish can only be caught on urigs for some reason. Its so frustrating when you can see them on the graph.

The water temps where I was registered at 52 degrees most places. I did not pull umbrella rigs but I did pull lead core with two buck tails per line without success.
