The rod on the other side of the boat got hit about 5 minutes after i stopped filming. Other than about 15-20 minutes of the violent storm, the rest of the day was actually not bad at all. We had almost all the lake to ourselves. I did feel bad for the guys about 100 yards away in the bass boat!LOL

We fished the tx as well! we have no top on the boat. Needless to say the weather sucked. We were in the truck when this was filmed. I called Dan right after they caught the fish and we had only caught bass. My 9 year old is on our team "herring impaired" He thought the rain was , and I quote "fun". The tornado watch was going off and he wanted to play in the rain LOL. Great video Brett, we went through that as well.
