I was attaching my Eisenglass enclosure to my T-top on my Whaler Outrage and noticed stress cracks on the aluminum welds at the top of the uprights where they attach to the T-top. My research online tells me it was probably due to the 70 mph highway trips to Florida. Can anyone recommend a good local welder / fabricator who can repair my top. Thanks, Joe

Corey would be the one to talk too but I doubt your problem is pulling the boat to Fla. We've hauled a buddy's boat to Fla the past five years behind one of our diesels running in excess of 70mph and his has held up with no cracks. If you have cracks around the welds then odds are they didn't have the heat right....coming from a welder.

I'm not really the guy when it comes to aluminum. Wish I could suggest someone, but I don't know anyone right off hand.
