Got out late this afternoon. Oakwood Bait and Tackle was closed and so was the bait shop up at Wahoo Creek. Found some trout at Freddy's, but ended up paying $1.99 a piece for medium trout. When I finally goy set up the wind was really blowing. It wasn't bad until the sun went down, but then it got rough. I was determined to fish until the moon paced overhead. Less than five minutes before the moon passed overhead, wham, I hooked into one that was, I believe, over 20lbs and could have gone in the mid twenties. It was pretty dark and I was without flash light again. Felt like a truck was on the end of my line.

The wife had a hard time taking a picture with my phone, but managed to get ,ost of the fish in the picture.

He was a bum and stayed home. I did the same. I find it best not to go out with a hangover. So instead I'm going today despite the wind and cold. Hopefully I'll earn my right to catch fish.

Got to comparing pics, I think the fish was propably high teens. Whatever, I'm stoked. I've caught a striper three out of my last five times out, which for me is highly unusual. You guys with boats should be fishing. It's been a great late fall/early winter for me.
