I was looking around on the website and clicked on the Lanier fishing records. There is a record on Lanier for Hybrid Bass. Its 12 pounds. How did this happen?

Probably a few fry that did not get cleaned out of a stocking tank managed to survive.

In the mid 80`s a couple of fisherman brought small Hybrids from another lake in bait tanks in an effort to see how they would do in Lanier.
