Does it matter where I install the ss transducer? My sonar transducer is on the right of motor and if I put the ss transducer 6 inches beyond it it will be way off center. I was thinking about installing it on the left side of motor anout 10 inches from center.

it will be ok. mine is that far. just needs to be within 12 in or so.
