Took advantage of my 25 yr anniversary to bring my bride down to Tybee for a long weekend for some time to ourselves--- and a fishing guide. True romance.
Booked with Jerry Boaen of Bendarod Fishing Charters (http://www.bendarodfishingcharters.com/) for a half-day trip and had a blast casting to tailing reds in the flooded grass at high tide. Tagged 2 over the 23" slot and filled the cooler with some beauts at the top end of the slot. Also grabbed a couple of 18-20 in trout, which were delicious last night with zatarans breading....
My wife had a blast-- Jerry Boaen knows the area like the back of his hand and had us on fish most of the time. He's a competitive fisherman and was wonderful with my wife, who's not.

I'd fully recommend him any time you can get out there. Now's a good time. The fish were very active-- the time's right.

Great trip! I love redfish, I would like to do that down there. I did not know that guide was there. I will give him a try.
