my family has a house down on Tybee but I have never fished the area...any tips for me without going far offshore?

I don't know a lot, I've only fished off the pier once. Caught mostly whiting, but it was in July or August. Anyway, there is a bait shop right after you go across the last bridge. There's also a fishing pier there. Here's some info from their site.

yeah I have fished off the pier and not had that much luck...I am definitely going to bring my boat...I heard that there might be some bull reds in the are over the next few weeks.
