I bet my day yesterday was worse than yours if it makes you feel better.

Clay: Don't get me wrong. We had a blast and an awesome day. The "striper report" is the only terrible part.

The fish would not hit the freestyle lures. Our lures were going through groups of bright green fish on the Lowrance. Looking back at it, we didn’t try the cheese chum…A fatal mistake.

Is bait still not working? Feels so weird to go out without bait. I was wondering all day if they would have ate it.

To give you an idea how my day went. Lost my anchor while waiting on my guys. Got caught in a lightning storm shortly after and all I could do was go 5 mph for about 3 miles. Hit a rock knocked off part of my skeg by trying to go faster. Graph went out due to a leak in the seal. Could not get the boat on plane to drain the water out of the boat so it was about 4 inches deep in the boat. Got to the truck and we had locked the keys in the truck. Took another hour sitting the rain to get the keys. End result no fish for the day. Kind of hard to catch them going 5 mph. I will be sure to post later in the week.

I'd go ahead and buy a lottery ticket after that day, something has to change for you!

Saw, yesterday, that a low spot is marked off a point near the powerline in FB. Also told there is 2 foot water going to the bridge to the islands!

Both are true.

Clay, unreal man. Days like that keep you humble. Take that back, summers like this keep you humble.
