For our team, the start was catastrophic - we lost our bag with the phone, weigh in sheet, etc. somewhere between Buford Dam Road and McEver Road in Oakwood. Forgot to latch the door to the T-Box. This is something that you young guys can look forward to. LOL! Anyway, after ten minutes or so, we were laughing about the matter and making jokes about what our wives were going to do with their dimented husbands. So, with our bait aboard from Oakwood Bait & Tackle, we retraced our trail south on McEver; soon we are accompanied by other particpants in our seach for the contents of the bag.

Eventually, we found the phone and a few other items along McEver Road - enough to get us back on track. Many thanks to the teams who stopped and lent a helping hand.

While the fishing was tough, we enjoyed the Captains' Party, Saturday Awards Ceremony, and, of course, the raffles. We won the gift certificates provided by Capt Don Brown.

Looking forward to next year's event. P.S. We are planning to hire a Captain with a better memory than ours for next year!
