Finally getting back on the lake the last couple of days. The last two days the fishing has been much better. I di hear some good reports earlier in the week as well. The fish are starting to show up on some points. Finally don't have to fight the crowds in Flat and Bald Ridge to catch some fish. Even caught one 14lber on a chug bug and missed another on it today. Did not have any luck on the redfin but it is really close. All of our fish came on herring today. Personally I have not had much luck on trout the last couple of days. Did catch one on a Gizzard shad. If you want to cast artificials, super flukes rigged weightless are catching some stripers. Overall, fishing looked much better the last two days. Forgot the camera, but as soon as I get some good pics I will post them.
