Been out every day this week. Tuesday was the toughest day as expected with the heavy wind. Still not a bad week especially the past two days. The bigger fish are out in the deep water as expected but the smaller fish are much shallower than expected as others have mentioned. Trolling has been dead for me as well. Looks like the wind is going to blow again Saturday. Hopefully it will lay down before Sunday. You might recognize some of the guys in the pics. Had a great time today guys.

We had a great time as well Clay. We started out in our first location, on a 40' to 50' bottom. We caught one on bait in the first 10 minutes. We had 3 rods out just looking to see if the fish would show up, while I was power reeling a Jig from the port side rear. I hooked up on a nice fish, which then put the fish under us and two more rods went off now we had a triple on.

We ended up with two more doubles through the day and our tally was 15 fish hooked, and 11 to the boat, with one break off.
Normally I would say we had a good day, but with the current tough fishing conditions, I would say we had a great day. smile

Great pics, Clay! I am going to have to site you for having too much expertise on one boat, though, with yourself, Dan and Brett aboard. smile

We saw you guys catch one and we had them on the graph as well. I had some streakers come up and look but no hook ups. Clay thanks for the advice about the morning bite. We found some shallow but could not make them eat.

Clay put us on fish under what has been a very difficult time. He really knows the lake and the hourly patterns that the fish are on. I was hoping for 1/3 of the amount of fish Clay put us on, and he really did the job. I would really recommend that you guys do what Vic, Dan, and I did and book a trip with Clay. Seeing someone operate who does this day in and out will really help your fishing. Clay is a really great guy with a passion for the fishery. You will not be disappointed.

p.s. just don't have him give you the rod with the barb-less rubber hooks or you too can lose the 3 out of the 4 fish we missed! It could not have been my fault!
