Fishing has not been easy this week. Free lines and planers with herring and gizzards very shallow in the water colum have been best. Brian did pick up a 20 pder on a larger trout yesterday. Balloons five feet above the bait is not a bad idea to keep it shallow. Starting to see some spots at times on the free lines but not as many as usual for this part of April. Been trying to find some fish away from the crowds with no luck.
