All types of things going on out on the lake. The water temp. is starting to climb a little. It was around 56 degrees today for the most part with the north end being a little warmer. Same old areas like Flat, Balus and Bald Ridge are holding the most fish. Fishing on the north end should explode any day. It may already be but we did not have much time to check it today. Free lines with herring will get the most bites but some nice fish coming on gizzard shad. Personally, we had a hard time on the bucktail this morning. Live bait was the only way to go.

Thank you for a great trip with lanier today. We weighed in at 29 lbs, and you have pics on your camera. The other guys gob it got dehydrated today in the heat and lost the few oz's it needed to be over 30 lol. All caught on herring today, and flukes. Now back to Texoma for me.
