Delayed harvest trout below Morgan Falls Dam has been awesome! Fish obeing taken on nymphs fished below a strike indicator. Best flies are lightening bugs, Y2K's, prince, hare's ears and glow bugs. Make sure you weight your flies or use a split since these fish are near the bottom. Whitewater and Paces Mill is fishing exceptionally well. Wooly Buggers are a close second to nymhing. Black and or olive are your best colors. Lots of nice brown trout showing up. This means we are seeing holdover fish being caught. The Amicalola has is yielding its typical catch of rainbows. The Steel Bridge area is fishing best. Now is a great time to take a youngster to experience some EASY trout action. REMEMBER it is all catch and release. You must use a single hook if you are not flyfishing and we recommend going barbless so as not to damage the fishes mouth.
