Jim Palestrini, who is in charge of registrations for the 2011 Fun Fest, asked that I provide everyone with an update. As of today, we have twelve open spots. My best guess is that the event will be completely sold out in seven days.

Mail your registration form, check, and other related forms to the address shown on the Web Site of the Lanier Striper Club. Just google Lanier Striper Club and you will find everything you need to register.

All of our planning and budgeting (including the free cellular telephones, free fishing shirts, free meals, free Check-It measuring boards, tournament winnings, etc.) are based on 60 teams. The Fun Fest Chairmen and the Officers of the Club have limited the "field" to 60!

One last word: If you are new to Striper fishing or have recently moved here, this is a perfect opportunity to mingle with a lot of friendly folks. The emphasis of our event is fellowship and having fun. We encourage family participation!

Filet Mignon with Jumbo shrimp, loaded potato and salad one night. Your choice of Lobster tail or lamb chops the second night with all the sides.

As far as the meals go, I wasn't at the tx last year so I don't know, but I will find out. Anyone who was there, please chime in.

Dang pretty impressive spread right there. Where did you finish Striper Sniper2 ?

Actually it was hamburgers one night and bbq the next if I remember rite. I finished like 22nd or so, not to good.
