It's been a while since I have posted last and basically due to finishing college, kids, and work. I got out last Friday with my daughter who has been nagging me to go so we stopped by Oakwood B&T and got a dozen BB's to try her hand at some stripes and spots.

We went to the back of a stained creek and as I put out the baits she ate Oreo cookies. Soon as I closed the bail on on a planer it got slammed. I got the fish hooked up and handed her the reel. She fought it like a trooper all the way to the boat. When we took a few pic's and released it she couldn't wait for another. The anticipation was thick and in no time she had another one on the same rod but lost it. If your wonder about her name, we named her after the town in which I am from in California, people here associate it with fabric softener??

Lil Bill,
Interesting story here. My stepfather lived on Cecilia Street just off of Firestone and Rives. You ever go to Pete's Patio? I played golf at Rio Honda all the time, and even rode on Paramount Blvd to the 5 freeway as we headed north to Woodland Hills. You ever shop at the mall? I would gobble at that In N Out Burger too. I actually loved Downey, but we moved to Corona. I delivered packages all around Bellflower, Bell, Bell Gardens, Downey, Cerritos, Norwalk, Paramount, Long Beach etc. Very nice to hear from another west coaster that lives in Ga. now.

Whahoo, we moved here in the mid 80's with my dad's company. We lived on Cornuta ave. and I visit family every other year. My mom was from Bellflower and every time I go back the first place I eat is In-n-Out burger and usually get a double, double animal style. I love to visit but would not live there after being here for so long. I am the biggest Dodger's fan and see them when I go back and I also go every year to Atlanta to root for them when they come to town.
