I had the pleasure of having Mark "LDR" Adams and Larry "Ducket technique" Brenner on board for last evenings "covert action striper adventures". We had some action to...or at least some did...right Larry;-) Larry showed up at the boat with a whole box of McStick (and I forgot to hijack it...hey it was 1am when I dropped him at his car...the poor guy maybe has had 2 hours sleep) and a new Boyd Duckett rod that he had yet to bend with a fish...not anymore as Larry was the fishmister last night. It didn't matter if we bumped him to the back of the boat to get clean up he still caught fish. He was on his game. He did let me cast his Duckett rod 2x...no more!
We all used the exact same lure...McStick with white and purple. I have no idea if the Long A would have done a well or better but I do know the McStick done good! This night time stuff kills an "old man" but it is crazy fun when in the darkness of night a monster striper hits your lure and explodes on the surface. I had a really nice one do some tail walk like a tarpon last night and even had some hits boat side...if that won't wake you up I don't know what will....
I have more trips booked for the next couple of days so Larry hold me some McSticks and I'll be by to pick them up. For those on the West side of the lake Hammond's carries them too.
Here are some pictures from last night’s trip...

Even the spots couldn't refuse...
