I took my two sons cat fishing with jugs this weekend around River Forks. We caught 15 or so and about 5 had warts covering the skin. Some had a dozen or so some had hundreds. We caught channels and whites but the whites were the only ones with these warts(bumps). Has anyone else seen this or know what it is?

Don Browns been peeing in the water around river forks. I would say its something to do with that.

A friend of mine caught a catfish with warts and took it to DNR and they said its from the catfish eating duck poop, or something like that. Really! Something about the birds eating something that's got mercury in it and then the birds poop and the catfish eat it and poop and the birds eat it again. Somewhere along that line, micro-organisms are introduced and causes the warts. The one my friend caught had bleeding warts.
