Got on the water about noon with my daughter. Trolled in the creek around some brush piles and the bank. Muddy water. Moved to midcreek to find some better water. Boated 2 and lost two more at the boat. Windy as hell and autopilot was struggling to stay on course. My daughter hung in there, but we bailed by 5. School night and long work week. Nonetheless, great to have my daughter hug me, tell me thanks, and say next time we'll get em' on corks daddy. We tried our four favorite blowdowns too with minnows on corks, but no luck yet. Next time Little River may be our target. We tried dark jigs tipped with minnows, but still a very slow bite followed trolling. We caught two very quickly, and I thought this was the day. Water temp got to 56. I was hoping the wind would lie down some in the pm

i've been trying to learn some crappie spots this year.....do you prefer the bay at the Rock House, the Pasture, The bay at the boat ramp, or go above the bridge? .......I heard that guys were having luck in squirrel creek, but my T-Top boat won't fit under the Wahoo Bridge......Thanks for any advice....Cj
