Had a trip this morning and we headed off to the first spot. water was 50 and muddy. The wind kicked us around all day but we got what we came for. Big fish, not a lot of fish caught but I have not been catching a lot when targeting big fish, lots can be caught now from brush and some docks but the size for the most part isnt that good so for now I will stick with getting less fish but more meat.

How deep did you find them? I'm going out in the morning, and wouldnt mind knowing a good place to start looking for them. Do you ever catch them suspended in the trees in deeper water? I'll be in Thompson creek if it isnt to muddy. Looked like pumpkin pie today. May go up Chestatee if thompson doesnt workout.
