Fished most of the on the southend looking for stripers. Really didn't find a lot of activity for them but the spots were tearing it up. Fished half way back in Young Deer and Six mile over 30-40 foot bottom. Downlined trout and herring at 20-25 feet. Look for brush or bait fish and the spots were there. Caught 6 fat spots 2-4 pound range and lost twice as many that hit short and didn't get the whole bait. Clay is right, now is the time to spoon over the schools of fish and you can catch them.
