Since I target stripers most of the time in fresh water I had not tried the Structure Scan to locate other species. Yesterday and today were different. Yesterday we tried the "crappie thing" with my boat to see if we could identify which docks or slips in docks were holding crappie. I was amazed! The LSS can identify where they are holding beyond a doubt. Today Jeff and I managed to boat 60 crappie by eliminating docks that were not holding fish and focusing on docks that were holding. While I did not off load my screen captures I did off load Jeff's for your viewing pleasure. You be the judge....can you see fish or not??

Bill, are you passing by the front of the dock or pulling up alongside?

And how close are you getting to them?

I am doing both. The speed is on the screen capture. Just pass in front of dock with the "dock side" selected and look for fish. Most of what I have been finding are in 20-25 feet deep and are suspended 8-15'.

The golf club shaped objects are the docks.
