We have some good weather and the water is starting to warm. I hit the water after lunch and was able to catch fish trolling, fishing brush and on docks. we are not in the spawn or even close to it but the fish have been shut down with the cold and bad weather, now the days are getting longer and the water is starting to warm. (45 up north ) fish were scattered but they are there. Couldnt get one on a minnow but small profile jigs worked. Sometimes they would hammer it and sometimes they would just hold it and make slack in the line. I will be on the water for the next 8 days and it should get better by the day as the water warms up more and more. We caught fish in 10 foot of water trolling and 18 foot on brush. all over the water column. from near the bottom to just a few feet from the surface when we fished docks.
