Well went out Wednesday to try and figure out this downline thing. Went to the good spots where I am finding fish. Fished Two mile and saw clay there in the morning. It was very windy the first part of the day. After about lunch time the fish were no where to be found. Looked at six mile , looked up Flat Creek. Any ideas on where to look in the afternoon and early evening for the stripes and what seems to be working. Is the downline bit not working anymore.. whats the new secret to catching these fish and where do they seem to be holding up at? Any tricks would be great for next time I can make it out to the pond.

Most of the time in the afternoon I will try looking out in the main channel. They seem to go into the timber that time of day so I will run leadcore out about 7 to 8 colors until I find them and then drop downlines on them.
