Well we actually caught our first striper this weekend.Was about 3 or 4 lbs. Went fishing for the day on sunday. Tried leadcore 7-8 colors and a 1 1/2 oz red and white stumper jumper (?? bucktail)with 6" chart trailer. Trolled 2 mile creek from Vans Tavern to Bald Ridge. Found some good spots on two mile then the boats started to swarm in ( a couple guide boats and others that followed in pursuit I guess ). Then around 1 or so in the afternoon it was harder to find the fish as the heat and the boat traffic picked up. Any ideas on where to look in the afternoon and what tactics seem to work later in the day?
