Fished sat. and sun. Sat did well, boated 1/2 dozen stripes. Live bait and leadcore was about even. On sun. it was tough, did not get any live bait, so i fished leadcore from 9-noon. Picked up 2 fish around 10lbs and that was it, Fished from young deer to flat, it seemed very slow on sunday. Anyone have better luck?

Not much better for me on Sunday morning. Fished with bluebacks up around Brown's Bridge. Had been doing very well up there. Couldn't keep the herring alive on the hook for more than a minute or two at best. Tried different depths with the bait...30, 35, 40, 45, 50. Didn't matter, they died real quick. Fish were there, and marked a lot of bait too. Saw a lot of fish come to the dead bait and turn away of course. Managed to catch 2 stripers around 8 lbs each because I saw them first then dropped bait down. Gave up on herring, and tried a deep spoon for a while. Saw a few fish come to it, and turn away.

We had a great day on Sunday. The fish really moved up shallow. Most came off herring fished 20-30ft on a 30-45ft bottom. A few came off leadcore fished 7-8 colors out. Seen lots of fish busting on top.
