Chances of catching a fish and bigger on bait is good but chances of "catching" is way better on rigs and I've boated plenty of 20+ fish and at least 3 30+ fish on rigs. Bill,we have not met but we do share last names.I saw ur posts on u rigs and big fish,,I fish year round with u rigs and have done so for 20 yrs.I agree i have caught hundreds of 25 lb stripers and 5 or 6 over 30.I started using u rigs b4 fishermen knew about them and the guides that were aware of them hated them,claiming they got hung in the trees and then the stripers would get hung up on them and die. One day on lanier,at the 53 bridge i caught 7 stripers all together on the rig,granted they were small 3 to 5lbs but can u imagine 7 nice talking to u Dan Carcon
