Three guys in a john boat, wind gusts to 25mph, they are lucky the didn't win a Darwin award.

I never realized how bad the wind affected the lake until I started boating. My boat isnt that big and one day around Vans I was fishing with Marc and waves started crashing over the boat. It started takeing on water and the bilge pump was going nonstop. We were actually scared at that point but luckily we managed to get out of there without sinking.

I was at the lake on Tuesday, unfortunately doing yardwork and not fishing, and it was whitecapping pretty good out there (and I am in the back end of a creek).
