Monday the wind was calm a little chop. the fishing was good. Caught several one 11 and one 15 lb. Some spots. Wed. the weather had changed windy, cooler. Wind was about 12-15 and the water temp dropped to 66/67. No stripers anywhere we went. We were fishing "floats/free lines" with herring. Talked to one boat that had 2 caught on gizzards. They had two fish on three gizzards they had netted earlier. Both early morning fish. The spots were out but no stripes bitting far up noth. Hope this weather settles down.
