When can we start crappie fishing with success on lanier? I have a 7 year old that has the fever!!!

Check with the crappie club some are catching them now.

As mentioned, people are catching them now. The easiest fishing especially for the kids will be in April.

Hey Micro. I enjoyed your post on the 21st. good job and great pics. Looked like you guys had some fun. I'm on the lake in the Kieth Bridge area. Looked like you guys were on up the river. I just had some surgery but plan on fishing starting in mid January.

I am in the keiths bridge area too but I prefer to go north most of the time. Spring and early summer I have some spots down this way but I prefer to troll on the north end.
