It seems like evey December Leonel catches a 35lb Striper. Well this December is no different. I put up a picture of his 45" Striper. He has no actual weight. It bottomed out his 30lb Boga grips. He caught it on a large 12"+ Gizzard Shad on the Southend.

As for me, I fished today with Keith. As always we had Keiths luck on our side. We certainly didn't break any records for size, but we caught a bunch of Stripers and spots, mostly on downlines. We fished in one of my favorite Winter places. Felt good to be back there. We used fresh caught threadfins and medium trout. Lots of fun. I would have posted some pics, but i didn't want to embasrass ourselves after seeing Leonels fish. Way to go Leonel.

what a day! Bob and I caught a lot of fish today and then hear that lionel caught 2 over 30 lbs. I am glad we did not post our pics LOL but i am glad that the big one he caught. I keep saying it, cold, nasty weather = fish. congrats Lionel. Go fish, you can't catch any on the couch!
